Diabetes UK is the charity leading the fight against the UK's devastating and fastest growing health crisis, working to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. It’s a fight that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Join us.

Story

Julie was an inspirational, brave, kind and caring person who battled with diabetes and its resulting complications from the age of 12.  She lived life to the full and always managed to look on the bright side of her situation.

She sadly passed away on 13 April 2014, aged just 49.   She slipped away peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with diabetes and kidney problems.  She will forever be remembered for her courage in fighting this illness.

One of her wishes was to raise money for further research into diabetes so that it may one day be cured. Please help us to raise money in memory of this wonderful lady.
