Story
Walking round Virginia Water lake will be a huge challenge for me as I am a bit of a lazy bones and prefer to be lying upside down in my bed or sitting on someones lap. However, this is a very worthy charity and I have assured my human that I will rise to the challenge and complete the entire walk - even if she has to carry me for some of it. I am also exceptionally excited to be able to wear my Christmas outfit before December 25! I will be completing my lap with two adult humans, one is currently a Trustee of White Lodge and has been involved with with organisation for over 30 years. We will also be joined by 3 other non-furry child friends - and I'm not sure they will be as excited to wear their Christmas outfits as I am but my enthusiasm will be infectious!
Seriously though, White Lodge has achieved a remarkable feat in surviving the pandemic and continuing to support over 2,500 children and adults with disabilities and their families. The organisation is 60 years old next year and your support matters now more than ever. If you feel able to support this event and my attempt to walk the longest distance I ever have in my life not only would we all be very grateful but it genuinely will change lives. And what a fantastic Christmas gift that is. Thank you so much in advance.
