Hastings Half Marathon 2014 · 23 March 2014 ·

St Michael’s Hospice is heavily dependent on the generosity of local individuals, companies, groups and trusts. The NHS provides one third of our total income as grants. Did you know it costs around £5.5 million per year to provide our Hospice services? Please support our vital work.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!!

I am running the Horrible Hilly Hastings Half Marathon TWICE on 23rd March 2014 for St Michael's Hospice in memory of Richard Milton.  Richard sadly lost his battle with cancer at the hospice on Sunday 16 February 2014 at the tragically young age of 42.

His family were overwhelmed with the love and care that Richard received there and are hoping to raise as much money as possible through various events to say thank you and to ensure that the hospice can continue to do its valuable work.

My Hastings Runners colleague Nigel Thornely has unbelievably agreed to try to get me round - huge thanks to him.

So please sponsor me as much as you can.  I promise I will be suffering so your money will really spur me on!  Lap 1 will start at about 7.00am and Lap 2 at the official race start time.

All support and jelly babies (and heckling) on the way around gratefully received.  You will be able to spot us in our yellow Hospice T-shirts (and the facial expression/limping gait - me, not Nigel!)

Thank you so much!

Juliette xx
