St Mungo’s provides a bed and support to more than 3,150 people a night who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our vision is that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions.

Story

[UPDATE]

As my editor has told me he wouldn't sponsor me because abseiling is 'too fun', I have also decided to live on £1 a day for 5 days between 2-6 May, to highlight the plight of the millions living in poverty who have the same amount to live on.

If that's not un-fun enough, I don't know what is!

On Saturday May 14th, i'll be abseiling 500ft down Guys Hospital to raise money for St Mungos homeless charity. I am not an 'endurance' kinda gal, so this is unlike anything i've ever done before and i'm excited and terrified in equal measure. Please please sponsor me.

For more information on the great work St Mungos do, visit www.mungos.org.

Thank you!
