Many generations of my family have served in the Armed Forces, some have given their lives.  Whilst I have long since retired, my son now serves with the Royal Engineers. I believe that SSAFA provide an invaluable service, supporting our armed forces personnel and their families through tough times and heartache. 

I now use my passion for cycling to organise events to raise the awareness of the work of SSAFA and helklp raise the much needed funds for the work they do.
