My name is Charlotte and I am 6 years old. In April I am going to do 40 hours of dancing to Just Dance routines to raise money for ME Research UK. I am doing this to help people who have ME to get better. 

I am Laura, I am Charlotte's mum. I have suffered with ME for 16 years following flu. ME causes many debilitating symptoms including fatigue, post exertional malaise, cognitive dysfunction, pain, nausea, muscle weakness, muscle spasms, shakiness, headaches and heart palpitations amongst others. Due to the Covid pandemic many more people are suffering post viral conditions and it is vital that more research is done into the causes and potential treatments. ME is a very misunderstood condition. More awareness and funding for research is required. I am so proud of Charlotte for taking up this challenge and wanting to help people.
