Story
"I'm pleased to announce that I will be running the London Marathon in April to support Meningitis Now, a charity that provides critical support to people affected by meningitis. This cause is very close to my heart because my friend and colleague Ben lost his son Harry to pneumococcal meningitis in 2015. Harry was a vibrant, funny, and caring boy, and it's been heartbreaking to see how much his loss has affected his family.
Meningitis is a devastating disease that can progress from mild symptoms to life-threatening in a matter of hours. That's why I'm determined to make a difference by crossing the finish line on race day and raising awareness and funds for Meningitis Now.
By donating to my run, you can help fund vital research into new treatments and vaccines for meningitis, as well as provide practical and emotional support to families like Ben's who have been affected by this disease. Your contribution can help make a meaningful impact on the lives of those impacted by meningitis.
I need your support to reach my fundraising goal and make a real difference in the lives of those affected by this disease. I'm determined to cross the finish line on race day and to make a real difference in the lives of people affected by meningitis. With your help, I know we can make a meaningful impact together
Thank you for your support."
