Story

Hello, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

There are many important things in life but the heart has to be one of the most important things that we all should protect as we cannot live without it. There are 7 million people in the UK alone with cardiovascular disease which can progress into people suffering from heart attacks and ultimately a cardiac arrest.

On March 28th to the 12th April 2018 I will be undertaking the biggest challenge of my life.

I am doing this challenge to raise awareness of the amazing work the British Heart Foundation (BHF) do to advise, educate and research in order to save as many lives as possible.

I volunteer for the BHF teaching basic life support skills as part of the Heartstart programme. I want to raise awareness that these free 2 hour courses are available across the country to educate everyone on how to save lives. I will be delivering a Heartstart course in  Mount Everest Base Camp with the aim to show that no matter the challenge, life saving skills can be learnt anywhere!

I have paid for everything myself, all donations made will go directly to the British Heart Foundation. I will keep you updated on my progress with pictures of the challenges as I progress to the end.

Thanks for taking the time to read my story.

Best wishes

Justin
