We fund vital research into neuroblastoma to find new and better treatments

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

In the summer of 2013 we lost my darling neice, Lizzy, to Neuroblastoma; a rare and aggressive children's cancer. Lizzy's family have taken considerable comfort in the efforts made to raise funds for and awareness of this dreadful desease. Now it's my turn!

Later this month I'll be taking part in the extraordinary "White Ring" race in Lech.

To provide a fitting celebration for the 50-year anniversary of the ski circuit between Lech and Zürs, the “White Ring – the Circuit”, the first “White Ring – The Race” was held in 2006 and, since then, has developed into a unique cult race with an attractive supporting programme. With 22 kilometres of piste and 5,500 metres of altitude, “The White Ring – The Race” is the longest ski race in the world according to the Guinness Book of Records. The course record has been held from the start by Olympic and World Champion Patrick Ortlieb.
