Only a couple of months after diagnosis Liam lost his fight to cancer. Myself and Katie are extremely lucky to have wonderful support from wonderful loving family and friends, who have been there for us all the way and remain great support still :-) We love you all xxxx

Unfortunately not everybody diagnosed with cancer have the same support and it upsets me to think that people have to go through this terrible time alone. That is why support from Macmillan is essential to  help and support practically and emotionally, those suffering, through treatment and recovery.

We had great support from many with the very successful Smegal Sixes driven by Anthony, Liam's brother. This adventure is being driven by a fantastic person who lost her father to cancer (Tree fella - Crown companion to Liam and many others). Charlie has organised and inspired a few mad people like me to do this challenge, I'll see on Sunday/Monday if I will be thanking her. I thank you all in anticipation for your support.
