After being poorly in beginning of 2019 I was told in the April I had ovarian cancer at age 36 and possibly in my lymph nodes too. Being told I was too young for this type of cancer didn’t help me. So just 5 weeks later after mri scans and ct scans, bloods to check CA-125 levels and found they were rising quickly I had 3 hours of surgery planned for 16th may 2019 only to be told they wanted me in sooner and turned out to be 6 hours under the knife on 1st May  having a total open abdominal hysterectomy and lymph node biopsy during process to check hadn’t spread there too which was fine luckily!  To be told in recovery if had I refused the sooner date then end of life care would have been needed due to how severe it was getting. 

Here I am just over 3 years later signed up for UWCB, my mental health took a very low dip and I then discovered what it’s like to live with anxiety which I hadn’t had before. My confidence hit a low and also hated my body image as lost lot of weight and just in general didn’t like myself but with going gym and working I found myself so thought it’s time to show women that you can find your confidence again and love who you are.
