UPDATE 26 March 2007:
Thanks to all of you who gave – in some cases very generously – to Prospect Burma in sponsorship of my run yesterday.
At short notice I'm running in the Bath Half Marathon on 25 March owing to my brother-in-law Brian being unavailable (a pressing skiing engagement ).
So I have an opportunity to raise cash for Prospect Burma, a fantastic charity that provides funding for students from Burma to attend schools, colleges and universities all over the world. Please dig deep to help provide educational opportunities for bright people who don't have much to look forward to otherwise in Burma, where the education system is on its knees.
You can read more about the work they do at http://www.prospectburma.org/.
Donating through this website is the easiest way to sponsor me: it's quick and you can pay by debit or credit card. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Prospect Burma will receive your money faster. If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support. Running tips gratefully received...
Justin
Thanks to all of you who gave – in some cases very generously – to Prospect Burma in sponsorship of my run yesterday.
Your generosity put a real spring in my step and I got round the Bath Half Marathon in 1 hr 37 mins 54 seconds, which I can hardly believe (although my sore legs today are a very real reminder of the fact).
So many, many thanks on behalf of Prospect Burma. Please consider continuing to support them in the future – www.prospectburma.org .
