Story

I'm challenging myself to run the #TeamAN Zero to Hero Challenge, to raise money and be a lifesaving hero for people with blood cancer.

This charity as you may know is very close to my family's heart. It has recently saved my sister's life by finding her a donor that has given her a second chance.

Stacey hasn't had a straight forward time, with the obvious implications of Covid 19, she couldn't have any visitors which was extremely difficult not only for her, but for us not being able to be with her during such a horrendous time. She has had to over come many hurdles in the lead up to, and including the stem cell transplant.
She is an absolute inspiration to me because of how well she has coped and adapted to changes she has faced. I cannot thank her donor enough for saving her life. It means Stacey is still here and is able to be an auntie to our second child born only 3 weeks ago, and in a few days I'll be starting this with a 4 week old! (Crazy I know and surely that in itself is worth a sponsor!). I'm not doing this alone though as my husband Mark and Stacey's husband Dave will also be helping me along the way.

I would like to make a small difference to the charity by raising £400.00. This will enable them to get 10 people signed up to the register to save lives. It costs the charity £40.00 for each person who is registered to be a donor.

Please donate and support me, and even sign up, share and make others aware. Become a lifesaver yourself if you can!
