We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

We've partnered with the Queen Mary Vipers to support Teenage Cancer Trust just as they support our own Joe Waller, and the Vipers Mide Segun

Joe Waller of the Chargers was diagnosed at age 10 with a rare soft tissue cancer. He beat it and was considered cured. 9 and a half years later, after playing football with both the Chargers and Norwich Devils in the 2017/18 season, Joe relapsed just before his birthday in August and is undergoing treatment again

Mide Segun of the Vipers was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma following the 2017/18 season. After a summer of treatment, he was given the all clear to return to university and play football for the Vipers this season. In December 2018, after playing 4 games of the season, Mide relapsed and restarted chemotherapy.

#66Strong

Just as Teenage Cancer Trust support both Joe and Mide, we wish to support them in return. A truly great organisation that care for those affected by Cancer in any way they can. The strength these two guys show is something each team holds close to their heart and has inspired us a to work alongside our opponents to battle a greater cause!

With the support of our joint communities, we can and will make a difference.

Any donation is much appreciated, thank you from both the Chargers and the Vipers!
