Story

I am running the London 10km Winter Run this Sunday 9th February 2020 and I'd love you to help me fund raise for Cancer Research UK. I'm running as part of a small team of scientists and clinicians from the Sanger Institute in Cambridge where we all work. None of us have done something like this before, but we've been training hard to do it!

Some of us, myself included, treat patients with cancer every week and are all too familiar with the enormous impact the condition has on their lives. Some of us, myself included, have close family members affected by cancer. All of us work on cancer research - and Cancer Research UK are an incredibly forward thinking charity that are the funders behind many of the key efforts to better understanding and treating cancer in this country. As doctors and scientists, we are grateful to Cancer Research UK for the work that they do and the projects that they fund, and we are glad to be doing this run to support them in return.

Thanks in advance for your sponsorship.  Jyoti
