Chivas Brothers - Keith to Kilmalid for Scottish Association for Mental Health · 18 August 2022
I'm going for it again this year - in reverse! This year it's North to South (Keith, Speyside, to Kilmald, Dumbarton).
This time we are raising money for SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health), Chivas' charity partner, with all funds going towards its work to support those affected by mental health conditions.
I will be a (slow but sure) part of a team of 20 intrepid cyclists, biking from Speyside to Glasgow – covering 200 miles and climbing more than 10,000 feet, across some of the UK's most difficult terrain. The ride is taking place from 18-20 August 2022.
Personally, I get huge benefit from not only the challenge itself, but also the training leading up to it. It gives me the motivation to get out on my bike, which I love, but don't do enough. In other words, it's good for my mental health and I appreciate the fact that the proceeds of this challenge will go towards helping others improve their mental health.
We appreciate all and any donations which will go towards making real changes for both individuals & collective, of those who live with mental health conditions.
What will you be contributing to?
