Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running around Chester Race Course with other staff members from my school on October 9th https://www.chester-races.com/news/other-events/foamtastic-colour-blast/
One of our school values is Learning to be Kind
This event will not only help us be kind to ourselves by encouraging us to be healthy and exercise it will also help our local community.
At Hospice of the Good Shepherd, the medical and nursing staff deliver end of life care to patients and support their families, carers and friends.
They rely heavily on generosity. Voluntary donations to support the services able to offer to people with life-threatening conditions, their families, carers and loved ones.
All support is provided free of charge and this year they need to raise almost £4 million to deliver services across Cheshire West and Chester, Deeside and South Wirral. That equates to over £11,000 a day, every day of the year.
From £5 to £500 every penny will enable them to provide the best care and support to those that require it, from medical supplies, nursing care and counselling and therapies, to offering education development for nursing and medical professionals.
Here is an example of how they make such a difference https://www.chesterstandard.co.uk/news/19631616.hospice-good-shepherd-patients-emotional-reunion-horse-pet-dogs/
Please donate - The smallest donation can still make a difference
Kindness really does matter!
