Climb for a Cause at Mount Olympus! · 7 July 2023

Each year, employees from local companies and foundations raise funds for Washington's National Parks by climbing Mount Rainier, Mount Shuksan (North Cascades) or Mount Olympus (Olympics). Are you ready to Climb for a Cause?

Story

Why yes, here we are again raising funds for Washington's national parks in my favorite way - climbing their iconic peaks! This year I've got my sights set on Mount Olympus, the tallest peak in Olympic National Park.

This summer, in particular, is special for this park as they begin to highlight and memorialize the melting glaciers in this mountain range through the Terminus Glacier Memorial project - made possible by donations to WNPF btw (wnpf.org/terminus)! By supporting Climb for a Cause, you're enabling projects like glacier research, SAR operations, junior ranger programs, or native plant restoration. Washington's National Park Fund is the official nonprofit partner to these parks and without donor support, many of these projects would otherwise go unfunded. I hope you can join me in supporting these beautiful places.

And if you're ever in one of the parks, I'd love to visit with you and show you how you've made an impact here. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
