OK, for the first and last time I want to ask you to sponsor me.....

I have entered a sprint triathlon for the benefit of Macmillan Nurses who helped my good friend James Watson when he needed it. 

I have had to learn to swim (seriously), and 2 weeks ago I rode a bike outside a gym for the first time in more than 20 years! 

I would be really grateful if you could spare some money - surely the thought of me getting unceremoniously fished out of Eton Dorney lake in a wetsuit (imagine a hippopotamus squeezed into a black bin bag...photo available....) is worth digging deep for this great cause!
