Hello everyone. I'm Kait and you probably all know by now but two of my favorite people in the whole world, my sisters Lauryn and Loucie both have CF. So I decided that in 2021 I was going to do another challenge to raise some money for the CF Trust. As travelling isn't really possible right now, I decided to sign up for this virtual walk from Lands End to John O Groats. And once as signed up, Lauryn, Julie, Tania and Jess signed up too and so now we are all going to complete the challenge.

We have 1 year to complete the 874 miles each. That might sound like a long time, but it's a long way. It's an average 73 miles a month. Or 17 miles a week. Covid means that some days I am doing less than 500 steps. So I am going to have to really up my game if I am going to get my miles done. Starting with my first 10 mile walk on 1 January 2020, which I completed even though it was snowing! Everyone else has also been out in the January chill making excellent progress too.

The CF Trust provides help and support for both those with CF and their families. Their campaigning has meant that life changing drugs are now available to  a large number of people with CF. But sadly not yet to everyone. And so more research is needed and more funding required.

We hope that by completing this challenge we can help to provide some of the money that is desperately needed. So please give generously anything you can spare.
