Story
On Sunday 4th October, I was going to be running a marathon (26.2 miles) as part of the Luton Lions Weekend of Running.
Like so many others, I had grand plans for 2020: Run the Barcelona marathon in March, run the Berlin marathon in September and run a few half marathons at other running events.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, those plans went out of the window. As a result, Luton Lions Running Club decided to host a virtual running event which allows participants to complete a 10k, Half Marathon or Marathon over the weekend of 3rd and 4th October.
Unfortunately, due to injury, I will no longer be able to run the marathon, and even walking the distance will be a tough ask, however, I plan to do my best to complete the distance in some way, shape or form.
I am raising money for Luton Foodbank and Age Concern, supporting and raising awareness for two local charities and I hope you can support.
Thank you.

All funds raised will be divided and donated to Luton Foodbank and Age Concern. As JustGiving do not allow pages to raise funds for more than one charity, all donations will initially go to the charity Community Interest for holding purposes only before reaching the two charities.
