In the very early hours of 17th June a bunch of DCC riders will be setting off for an epic 200 mile bike ride around lake Vattern in Sweden. This is twice as far as I've ever ridden in a day and expect 12+ hours in the saddle is going to be a literal pain in the arse!!!

We’re raising funds for the North West Air Ambulance and Mind Over Mountains. Both charities are very dear to our club members and your support will not only make a difference to peoples lives bit will also inspire us to put in the miles and miles of training.

Vaternrundan is the world's largest recreational bike ride. The 315kms around lake Vättern is a real test for the many participants that annually gather in Motala for the bike festivities. The event takes place in June and is a part of the Swedish Classic.
