Ladies Midnight Tiara Walk · 18 May 2013 ·

We provide specialist palliative care to patients across Forth Valley, Cumbernauld & Kilsyth in the Hospice and in patients' own homes. We need to raise £19,452 every day and with your support we can help our patients to live well right up until the end of their life and make every moment count.

Story

As some of you might know my uncle passed from cancer 2 years ago now. His passing was one of the hardest moments in my life and for my entire family but what made it slightly more bearable was him getting a place at a hospice. Moving out of the hospital made a big difference to everyone, and it is sad that not everyone has access to this service so this is why I am walking 10miles at midnight for such an important cause.

Hospices require a huge amount of private funding to keep going and provide such an valuable service to us all.

I have a small goal just £30, but as they say EVERY PENNY COUNTS! If you can spare just 50p that would really help out. I've been assured you can donate via this site almost any amount. Even if you see this and don't want to do it online you can give spare change the next time you see me I will have an envelope to put anything into.
