Frankie, Kate and I are taking part in an 8 - 9 mile Cross Bay Walk (Arnside to Kents Bank, over the sands of Morecambe Bay) on Saturday 13th July.  This is being held to raise funds for Scouts (including Frankie and Kate) who are going to the Kandersteg camp in August.   This is a challenging, 3.5 hour walk that includes a river crossing.

2nd Ulverston Scout Group are organising a camp for Scouts and Explorers from 2nd Ulverston, 11th Barrow and Xenolith Explorers to Kandersteg International Scout Centre in Switzerland.  

The largest Scout Group in Cumbria with over 100 young people in the Group, 2nd Ulverston Scout Group is a thriving unit comprising Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from Ulverston and the surrounding area.
