As someone who loves to get out in the fresh air walking I have signed up for the Severn Hospice Walk In Our Shoes event during the month of May. 10K steps every day which is what the amazing people working at the Hospice do every day ❤️

I am also a member of the local WI Bicton & Oxon and since joining have set up a monthly walking group. I lead the ladies, (plus partners and pooches) on local walks. 

For our June 2022 walk I have turned this into a fundraiser for Severn Hospice.  On Saturday 11th June we will set off from the Refresh Cafe on the Hospice grounds and walk a 10K loop down into Shrewsbury, along the river in quarry and back.

Once back at Refresh there is a second gentler walk across to the beautiful sunken garden to admire the gorgeous flowers.

After all this we will enjoy some of the very delicious cakes served at Refresh.

Severn Hospice is with families from the moment they're referred to its care for as long as they need it, and it does this every day, all day for anyone in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who needs that help.It does this for them for free, but it is not without cost and it can't happen without you.For every £1 you donate, they will spend 83p directly on care - and use the remaining 17p to make another £1.Last year, all those individual donations helped provide more than £9m of caring services.Thank you - you're amazing!
