Story

On Sunday 2 April 2023, thousands of people will take on the Brighton Marathon Ride; a 50km race along the spectacular beaches of Brighton and Hove. We (Diya and Kanika) will be among them!

We rode in this event in 2022 and loved it so much that we want to do it again and do it better. But we also want to make a difference.

This is not just a race, this is an opportunity for us to raise money for the League Against Cruel Sports; the charity that wants to create a better world for animals by consigning hunting, 'game' shooting and animal fighting to the history books. The League has opposed animal cruelty for almost 100 years; they were instrumental in the securing of the Hunting Act 2004, have achieved bans on hunting and badger baiting, and saved countless animal lives. They manage sanctuaries to protect wildlife, carry out investigations to expose law-breaking and cruelty to animals, and campaign for stronger animal protection laws and penalties.

Be part of that today: donate to support our ride for animals.

We love riding, we love fun, we love animals, we love a cruelty-free world. A small donation from you will help many animals, and make us pedal that little bit harder!

We stand on the side of animals and protect them from being harmed or killed in the name of ‘sport’. We manage sanctuaries to protect wildlife, carry out investigations to expose law-breaking and cruelty to animals, and campaign for stronger animal protection laws and penalties.
