Story

As Director of Fun for the Engineering & Change team, with 6 other of my awesome colleagues, we have decided to go on a small walk in the hills (small being 24miles)! Like all small walks, we thought this should support a charitable cause – that being St Barnabas Hospice in Linconshire. For those of you who have the pleasure of knowing some or all of us, you will know that we enter into this challenge with humour, dedication and absolute team spirit!

So without further ado let me introduce the team that will do everything they can to smash this challenge: -

Billie Jean, played by Kara Hemsley
Billy Ray Cyrus, played by Mike Palmer
Billy Bear, played by Kelly Johnson
Billy the Kid, played by Haydn Greenfield
Billy Gates, played by Adam Stacey
Billy Bailey, played by Ben Stapleton
Billy Goat, played by Matt Jenkins

We are supporting a great cause. St Barnabas Hospice is a local independent charity and every year they support more than 9,000 people across Lincolnshire with a life limiting or terminal condition. They deliver free, high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients, their families and carers. They aim to enable them to live as fully as they are able for however many days, weeks or months they have left. They are reliant on the financial support our community provides so that they can be there for more patients, their families and carers, every day of the year.

We’re proud to be supporting such a great cause and we couldn’t think of a greater bunch of people to tackle this challenge with together. We would very much appreciate if you could show your support.
Thanks, Billie Jean and the rest of the Silly ‘Hill’ Billies
