Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

Having lost my granny, Anne Casey, to a brain tumour in 2010 and seeing my grandmother, Rita Cromwell, survive a non-malignant brain tumour, I will be running my first marathon in London this October to raise much-needed funds and awareness for brain tumour research.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer. Yet, historically just 1% of the national spending on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

I am running my first marathon, and I hope you will support this great charity and me to help significantly accelerate the progress of brain tumour research.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
