Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

As some of you know, I’ve been lucky enough to secure a place in the London Marathon!!! 🙈 

When I heard I’d been successful in getting a ballot  place, I was full of mixed emotions……excitement, shock, joy, fear, disbelief, self-doubt, but mainly panic! 😂 

The last few months have been a bit surreal after I was diagnosed with primary breast cancer. Having recently come to the end of my treatment and having had a break from running, I think it’s fair to say I’m not at my fittest! However, there’s nothing like the challenge of a marathon (which I was never going to do btw! 😂) to kick start the training again, but along with my two running buddies, Lesley & Anya, we’re ready for it! (or we will be at the end of 16 weeks of training!) 

Thank you for your donation, I can’t tell you how much it’ll help towards supporting women and men, who have or who are suffering from breast cancer, to get through some of the toughest moments of their journey. Just knowing that there are people there for support, to listen and to ask questions, makes a huge huge difference! 🥰
