The 24 Peaks Challenge is one of the most demanding and rewarding team-building events in the UK. The challenge is to climb 24 peaks, all over 2,400 ft., in 24 hours across the Lake District.

Story

We are fundraising for Seafarers UK;
There will be no time for gazing, lazing or piggyback racing;
We will be donning our walking kit and all getting fit;
Please help us succeed and stampede to bequeath!

Several A P Moller Maersk divisions have signed up two teams
each consisting of eight hikers +one driver to complete the '24 Peak
Challenge' over the weekend of  7-8 July 2018.

This Challenge is no mean feat!

The first day will start at the crack of dawn around 04.00-05.00am at
the southeasterly side of Lake Buttermere with 14-16 hours of
intense walking over the Cumbrian hills covering some 17.25 miles.

The second day is not much shorter starting again around 04.00/05.00 close to Kirkstone Pass with 10 further walking hours covering 15.7 miles.

The clock will be ticking to complete in time, with 26 legs in total, over 32 miles (53 Kilometres) and the entire ascent being 13,133ft.

From various offices within the UK (see names below) we will be attempting to raise the 8,000K target for this very deserving
charity.  Can you please help us achieve it and dig deep and donate - many thanks.

Team Members are:-  Asbjorn Kops, Julie Slater, Jason Clifford, Holly Rowley, Richard Buckley, Matthew Horry, Kimberley Price, Laura Whiteway, Anuj Tewari, Francisco Martin, Simon Brown, Paul Walker, Nishant Sharma, Lisa Mullen, Kristina Matuko, Tobias Nittegaard and Ian Wain.
