Story
Breast Cancer, its over for me and now I’m hopefully well enough to take on a little challenge to raise funds to go someway in repaying all the great people that helped me and of course Clive, but much more than this, there were so many other people that supported/helped during treatment and whilst recovering.
Along with family and friends who kept both of us going there was the amazing lovely Macmillan Staff who looked after and cared for us during the gruelling chemotherapy, the same faces of patients week after week, some whom may no longer be here being cared for by the nurses who day after day witness unimaginable things.
Now when I say little challenge, we are running the Brighton Marathon to raise funds for our local Macmillan Centre in Lister Hospital, Stevenage. As many of you know I dislike running and it doesn’t appear to be Clive’s favourite pastime either so with the support from friends and family we will try our hardest to complete this for Macmillan.
We will be thinking of you all during our 26.2 mile run, each and every one of you and your contributions will ensure we get to the finishing line. Thank you ❤️
