For my virtual half marathon, I am planning to walk 13.4 miles on Saturday 9th October. The route will start from the site of London’s former Olympic stadium of 1908 in White City to the 2012 Olympic stadium in Stratford. 

All funds raised from the virtual half marathon event will support several projects in the LNWUH NHS Trust. One of the projects due to benefit from the money generated from the fundraising event, is the Elderly Care Wards Dayroom conversion, where the day rooms would be turned into reminiscent dwellings from the 1940s, 50s and 60s periods.
