I’ve been running for about 2 yrs and when my sister Frances suggested we do this together in memory of Dad it seemed the perfect goal. 

Almost 7 yrs ago my Dad died. In the yrs before he died we watched his personality disintegrate as a result of Alzheimer’s disease. My clever and witty father turned into a withdrawn and anxious man needing total care. It’s predicted that within a few yrs over 1 million people in the UK will have Dementia of which over half will suffer from Alzheimer’s.
