Story

I'm taking part in the Lakes Trek 26 in August to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.  This is a cause close to my heart.

My lovely father in law, John, died of Alzheimer's back in 2015 and for 7 years after his diagnosis, he really suffered as his memory & ability to eat, talk and carry out even the most basics of self care deteriorated.

Last year my dad was diagnosed with vascular dementia & Alzheimer's & I want to do all I can to support the Alzheimer’s Society, who are working hard to transform the landscape of dementia forever.

Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Whatever donation you can afford large or small will make a difference.

Thank you

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
