Dear friend, 

As you may know, in March this year, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to undergo ‘lumpectomy’ surgery and  15 rounds of radiotherapy plus daily medication for up to 5 years.  It was a very distressing time for myself, my husband and our three children but we were lucky and I am doing well.  

Having completed treatment, I have recently joined  Bosom Friends - Bradford, a brilliant support and friendship group for those who have experienced breast cancer, which offers a variety of social activities throughout the year.  

I was delighted to be invited to take part in their annual fashion show which raises funding and awareness for the group and provides an opportunity for the ladies and their families to have fun, feel special and hopefully, get a little bit of their confidence back.
