We're joining Cancer Research UK's Pretty Muddy Race for Life this year.
During recent years cancer has struck our immediate family. Karen's mum & Georgia-May's grandma is a survivor of bowel cancer (2009) and now Karen's father & Georgia-May's grandad is fighting a tough battle with prostrate & secondary cancer.
We have seen the lows, gone through treatment with family members and experienced the terrible things that cancer attempts to do, - fear, dread, anxiety, isolation as well as tear families apart. But our family is united in the stand, and by uniting together, we will not let Cancer beat us.
So for Mum & Dad, Grandma & Grandad - we are prepared to laugh, cry, get covered in mud and break nails.
Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring us - it's quick, easy and totally secure.
Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring us, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring us, we will beat cancer sooner.
