Story

I first wanted to run the London Marathon for my 40th birthday! I never thought I would be closer to 60 when I finally got to run it, however this is my goal.

I always promised myself if I ever got to run the Marathon then I would do it to raise funds for the Kingfisher Ward at Dorset County Hospital. When my daughter was chronically ill as a child she spent many months/years on and off of the ward.  I want to be able to show my gratitude to the ward by raising funds for them.

Your generous donations help   enhance the patient experience at DCH, funding new and advanced medical equipment; creating welcoming and comfortable environments for our patients and their families and supporting staff well-being.
