Story
When Peter first mentioned his desire to swim the English Channel as a relay team I knew it was something I wanted to do. I love to swim and knew it would be a great challenge for me and not everyone can say they have swum to Channel. In the time I have been training I have gone from being a slow breast stoke swimmer to a reasonable front crawl swimmer thanks to the help of our coach Audrey. This has been a personal challenge for me but I can see the benefits not only for myself but also those we are raising funds for.
I have been working for DPM UK for nearly 4 years and have been challenged by many of the books and messages produced by Derek Prince. I have also had the privilege to be able to take books and CDs (Blessing or Curse: You Can Choose, Faith to Live By and God Wrote Your Scenario plus other titles) to Nigeria and Kenya over the past two years as I have been out to work with churches and orphanages in these countries. People are crying out for good teaching in Africa and quite a number of believers know about Derek Prince from his time living and teaching out in Africa. With the money we raised there would be the opportunity for us to print resources out there instead of physically taken them with us making them more widely available.
