I have the honor of serving as mentor to students at Urbana and Graham. When students share that the program opens the door to dreams, it fuels my passion about the program. 

The Clark State Foundation recognized the need to encourage more community young people to attend college. In collaboration with Graham and Urbana School Districts, the Scholars program was implemented in Champaign County in 2017. Students inducted into the program are first generation college students. The program reaches the students at the time when most attitudes about college and careers are formed. Upon completing the requirements and high school graduation the students earn a full three-year scholarship to attend Clark State. Students are mentored throughout high school to prepare them for college success. Your support will provide life changing educational opportunities for these students.
