Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be paddling my way the Thames on the 17th July. To raise money for WAY

My husband Paul James died at the age of  37 from a brain tumour. I was 36, we had been together for 19 years.

My whole world fell apart in the most unimaginable way.

WAY provided me with peer to peer support with people that understood.  It’s given me confidence, friendship, and a place to be completely honest how I was feeling.

WAY provided 24hour support, from the helpline and other members.

I have belly laughed and cried!

It gave me the opportunity to travel on my own but not on my own.

WAY has helped me rebuild after loss, the loss will never go away but thanks to WAY I’m living with it and enjoying life again. Something I never thought possible.

Thank you in advance for donating.
