I am running the StHelens 10k in memory of Dave Hitchen who lost his life in September 2014 helping out on a organised cycle sportive. I new Dave for a number of years and was with him on the day he lost his life.  Dave was a lovely person with a heart of gold with a great sense of humour.  He helped and supported myself when I was going through Breast cancer in 2010 and on lots of occasions had to push me up hills as I had no strength in my legs due to the chemo. He was always in good sprits and made me laugh. 

He left behind his wife Nicola and his 6 year old daughter Izzy.

I'm raising funds for North west air ambulance as they attended on the day of the accident and without thus service more lives would be lost.  Please support me in this and donate to this cause. Thoughts are with Nicola and Daves family
