Ealing Half Marathon 2012 · 30 September 2012 ·

We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

We've shed blood, sweat and tears through training all summer. We've suffered through blisters, shin splints, bruises and sprains. We've existed on a diet of (ahem) egg whites and porrage oats. The hard working teachers of Drayton Manor High School are running the Ealing Half Marathon on 30th September!

We are running in aid of Cancer Research, a charity close to everyone's hearts. Most of us have known someone who has been affected by this awful disease. Indeed, we have lost some dearly loved colleagues from Drayton to it.

Please dig deep and sponsor us to help raise money to support the vital work that Cancer Research undertakes. No amount is too small, every penny counts.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please donate now.
