This year I have set myself the personal challenge of completing the London Marathon having never run a marathon before. As part of the City of London running club, 23 mile club, we are raising money for the Lord Mayor's appeal. Training has been tough going but the personal achievement and the monies raised for excellent charities make it all worth it.
