Our daughter Savannah has been treated on Oceanward since birth, she was born with a heart defect which has needed and will need surgery. The ward offers a great place for her to recover and she loves being there. Every penny helps to pay for new equipment and toys for the children and helps pay for parents to be able to stay on ward or in the heartbeat house next door to try to keep things as normal as possible for the children. It is a very scary time being told your child needs life saving surgery but everyone staff and parents are really nice and easy to talk to, without this ward our daughters life could have been so different.

The charity is holding a flash mob dance and we need to raise funds, myself and Savannah will be taking part so please sponsor us both any amount will help from £1 to £100+ it will all make a big difference to all us families on the ward.
