We work to meet the needs of people and their families living with and affected by end-stage kidney disease, on dialysis and post-transplant. From valuable donations and fundraisers we can provide services such as counselling, financial aid, the use of a patient support centre and patient holidays.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My dad, Eugene Ivers, had a kidney transplant many moons ago in November 1989 after spending 15 months on dialysis. We, as a family, will be eternally grateful to his donor and their family for allowing us the opportunity to grow up with a healthy dad. 29 years later, he continues to live a full and healthy life. I have decided to try and give something back to the Irish Kidney Association by shaving my hair off in Wesley College Dublin on Friday May 18th. All funds received will be donated to the IKA Renal Support Centre in Beaumont Hospital which provides accommodation for families of kidney patients from outside of Dublin amongst other vital services. My hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust.

Any donation is greatly appreciated so I'd like to thank you in advance for your generosity to this very worthy cause.
