Pancreatic Cancer Action is the only UK charity dedicated to saving lives through early diagnosis. Pancreatic cancer is the 5th biggest cancer killer and the 10th most common cancer in the UK. Your support means we can continue to raise awareness of the symptoms to ensure early diagnosis.

Story

In loving memory of our auntie Karen, on behalf of Pancreatic Cancer Action, me and my sister along with our dad will be doing a four day backpacking hike in the wilderness of the Scottish highlands covering up to approximately 50 miles.

Karen Shadforth was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in September and very sadly lost her battle on New Year’s Day this year. Karen was a beautiful woman inside and out and leaves behind her devastated husband Peter and their three children Rebecca, Jack and Molly.

Pancreatic Cancer Action is the only UK based charity that focuses on early diagnosis to increase survival in the unfortunate victims of this terrible disease. It would mean a lot if you could show your support to this worthwhile cause.
