Story
My challenge is to abseil from the iconic Forth Rail Bridge. 'It's a 165 feet drop with a soft landing on the golden sandy beach below' - so the marketing says! It's not my usual route to get to the beach but arriving by boat wouldn't be a challenge!
I'm not mega confident but I've been up the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa at 2716 feet; the Empire State Building at 1250 feet; the Eiffel Tower at 1083 feet and Blackpool Tower at 518 feet, so this should be a piece of cake (but then I wasn't impersonating Tom Cruise when I visited these landmarks)
As you may or may not know, Craig had a small stroke at the start of year and thankfully due to quick intervention and our fantastic NHS, is doing well.
To date, over 3 million pounds has been raised for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland. By supporting me, every penny raised will go towards helping someone in Scotland who has not been as fortunate as Craig, do more than survive when
they return home from hospital with a chest, heart or stroke condition - you'll help them really live by helping fund vital support services so more people in Scotland can get the support they
need when they return home from hospital.
