I am a trustee of this amazing charity.

They support local older people to stay independent by providing transport to important appointments, escorts for hospital visits and help with the shopping! They even help to do a bit of gardening and hang the curtains after they've been washed.

Companionship at Sunday tea clubs is very important when you can't get out of the house all week.

For me this is a MARATHON task (even though its only half) but its still not as hard as facing a hospital visit alone when you've lost your spouse and feel lonely and vulnerable. Please support my run and help me do my bit.
