Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.                                                   In 2013  my husband aged 41 was diagnosed with kidney cancer. After having surgery to remove the kidney he was put on a source trial chemotherapy drug. After 6 months unfortunately he suffered an anaphylaxis so therefore was taken off the trial. Helen Rollason not only funded the trial but gave help & support at a time in our lives when we needed it. After regular checks by Helen Rollason 5 years later my husband still remains cancer free.. We are forever grateful to Helen Rollason cancer charity & so too are our dear friends Nikky Kilpin & Bryan Clarke & their families who have also benefited from the help & support of this charity during their individual battles with cancer. I hope by doing the marathon & hopefully raising this money that other families can benefit too from this wonderful charity that helps so many.
