I'm joining #TeamKidney this October and walking 120km's throughout the month for the Big Purple Dog walk.

“ Hi, I just wanted to introduce us all. The three amigos Duster, Hugo and Rags will be helping me with this challenge, something l've never attempted before, but all being well I can help a good cause that's very personal to me. I'm Karen ( the red head) and Danielle is my daughter who is living with kidney failure after being diagnosed with an auto immune disease. She is doing peritoneal dialysis 8 hours every night at home and needs a transplant. Hopefully whatever I can raise will help fund more research so other families don't have to go on this journey. I'm hoping I can be a live donor, so doing this will hopefully get my energy levels up and my weight down, part of the criteria to donate is I have to be fit and healthy. So here we go.” 🐾🐾🐾👣

We need to improve the lives of kidney patients, faster. We need breakthroughs in research, sooner. Together, we will fund research to save lives.

As I walk with my pooch, I know that every step and every donation will help make a 'pawsative' difference to over 7 million people living with kidney disease in the UK. Kidney disease ends here
